Tuition and Guides

  • Our tuition is focused on off-road adventure riding, designed to build confidence and develop essential skills from the ground up, delivered over an engaging two day training experience.

At the novice level, you'll be introduced to fundamental techniques such as slow speed maneuvering, tight turns, balance, clutch control, and both front and rear off-road braking all taught on a flat but loose gravel surface.

As your confidence grows, we’ll gradually move onto more varied terrain, including ascents and descents, allowing you to apply what you’ve learned in increasingly realistic settings.

Afternoons are dedicated to fun trail riding, giving you the chance to reinforce your skills while enjoying the freedom and excitement that off-road riding offers. By the end of the second day, you’ll have laid the groundwork for confident, independent riding and with some practice and miles under your belt, you'll be well prepared to take on our intermediate course.

  • Our 2 day Intermediate off-road training is designed to help you build on the foundations established during the Novice course, with a strong emphasis on refining your core control skills.

The focus shifts from learning new techniques to mastering the application of those you've already been introduced to especially clutch control and balance. These two pillars are essential for tackling more technical terrain such as ruts, rocky climbs, and slippery descents, all while maintaining control and composure.

Rather than adding complexity, this course helps you deepen your riding ability by learning how to use the basic techniques effectively in challenging, real world scenarios. You’ll come to understand that techniques are simply the tools.  True skill comes from applying them properly and consistently. This approach helps eliminate bad habits and develops solid, instinctive riding skills.

By the end of the course, you’ll have ridden over terrain you may not have thought possible, up and down steep hills, across unpredictable surfaces, all under your own control. The confidence and competence you gain will open the door to even greater off-road adventures.

  • Our 2 day Advanced off-road training takes your riding to the next level by applying your hard earned skills in more challenging, real world conditions. Building on your intermediate experience, this course is all about confidence, pace, and control across technical and demanding terrain.

By this stage, you’ll have developed a solid foundation of clutch control, balance, and trail awareness. Now it’s time to put those skills into practice riding at a quicker pace, tackling longer and steeper ascents and descents, and handling more complex surfaces with confidence.

The course includes longer trail rides, helping you build stamina, maintain focus under fatigue, and manage both rider and machine across extended periods. Along the way, you'll learn additional techniques such as preloading, brake slides, power sliding, and skid turns, useful tools for when a trail throws up unexpected obstacles or requires a change of line on the fly.

While this isn’t training for the Dakar Rally, it will leave you with the skills and mindset needed to load up your own bike and chase adventure wherever the trail lead, with far less concern for what lies ahead. And who knows, you might just find yourself wanting to come back and polish those skills even further.
